We carry out chronic disease clinics for helping to manage your Asthma, Diabetes, COPD, High Blood Pressure and other long term conditions. These can be directly booked with our nursing team.
The Practice runs a stop smoking clinic that we encourage our patients to book an appointment for if they are considering giving up.
Our clinical team carry out some minor surgeries for non-cosmetic benign skin conditions. Your doctor will advise if you are suitable to have a skin lesion removed at the practice.
We administer the cervical cancer screening programme at the surgery and our clinical team can help with consultations for contraception, including the fitting of contraceptive coils and implants, we can advise on HRT and the menopause.
You are welcome to consult with a female doctor or our Practice Nurse should you prefer to see a lady for cervical smears or any other problems. Smear clinics have longer appointment slots – please tell the receptionist if you are booking a smear test so the correct appointment can be allocated and enough time allowed.
Advice can be obtained from your own doctor or from our Practice Nurse. Coils and caps can be fitted at the surgery.
Requests for contraceptive advice in the under 16 age group are dealt with sympathetically and in all cases confidentially. We participate in the C–Card system which enables younger patients to collect free condoms from the surgery discreetly at reception. Posters are up in the surgery explaining how to use this service.

Our nurses administer all for the NHS scheduled vaccinations for infants, children and adults. The practice runs seasonal flu clinics.
First Contact Physiotherapist are now working from our surgery. They are experts in muscular and skeletal issues and can diagnose, advise and refer on to the appropriate specialist if needed.
If you're planning to travel outside the UK, you may need to be vaccinated against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world.
Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges.
