Surgery will be closed between 1.00pm - 2.00pm Monday - Friday to allow for staff communication and lunch break. The telephone lines will be open for emergency calls only during this time. If your call is not of an urgent nature please wait to call us at 2.00pm when normal surgery resumes.
Please note Dispensary opens at 8.30am - 18.30pm. Closed 1.00pm - 2.00pm.
Note: The general surgery will be closed for practice staff training on a few mornings in the year. On these mornings there will be a duty doctor surgery.
Repeat Prescription Requests - Christmas period
For repeat prescriptions please request them no later than the 19th December.
Requests made after this are not guaranteed to be ready in time for Christmas.
Your Local Pharmacist
Your local pharmacist will be able to give you free health advice at any time – you don’t need an appointment. Many pharmacies operate extended hours on a rota basis. Call NHS 111 for details.

For urgent advice and treatment when our practice is closed, call NHS 111 by dialling 111.
Out Of Hours
There are Minor Injury Units (MIU) in Frome Community Hospital (8am to 8.30pm – 7 days a week) and Trowbridge Community Hospital (10am - 6pm – 7 days a week). Please use the NHS 111 service before attending MIU.
Accident and Emergency/999
Whatever the day or time, if you or someone else experiences severe chest pain, loss of blood or suspected major broken bones, go to your nearest accident and emergency department or call 999.
Accident and emergency departments are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and can assess serious injuries and provide emergency treatment.
